Virtual Cooking Class for Kids

Description

Join Chef Brittany, from Lettuce Cook, and other AFH Families for a virtual cooking class.  We will be making Spaghetti and Meatballs with a Rice Krispie Bar for dessert. Parent supervision/participation is required.

INGREDIENTS (SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLS)

  • 1 lb spaghetti (cooked ahead of time)
  • 1 lb.  ground beef
  • Italian bread crumbs
  • parsley
  • grated Parmesan
  • 1  egg
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • red pepper flakes (optional)
  • olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion
  • 1  (28-oz.) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1  bay leaf
  • Freshly ground black pepper

INGREDIENTS (Rice Krispie Treats)
  • 3-4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows 
  • 6 cups Rice Krispie Cereal
