AFH Play Date: Fire Station Tour
Saturday, March 23rd- Join AFH for our all-ages March playdate - Fire Station Tour! This is the largest fire station in Houston, Fire Station 8 in Downtown. (It’s also one of the biggest in the US!) We’ll get to tour the station, meet firefighters and see a fire truck and ambulance!
Older Child Program (6+): Birthmothers
Saturday, March 24th-We are pleased to offer our second of a four class series for older children (ages 6 & up). This program will focus on their birth mothers (and birth fathers if appropriate) and positive feelings will be encouraged.
Educational Program: Screenagers
Friday, March 29th- Join AFH for a screening and discussion on the documentary, Screenagers. Physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston discusses the impact of screen time and the friction it can cause in households. RSVP Here
How to Write Your Child's Adoption Story
Sunday, April 7th- Have you wanted to get started on writing your child's adoption story, but didn't know how to begin? Have you had the best intentions of doing it, but could not find the time? Kathie Otte, MSW, will present a two hour workshop for adoptive parents to help them get a jump start on this all-important project.

Saturday, April 13th- Join AFH for our all-ages April playdate - the EGGstravaganza! Enoy a BBQ lunch and activities for all ages, including egg decoriating, cookie decorating, photo booth, and rounds of egg hunting for different age groups!
